Verbloemd Festival
SEXYLAND World, Amsterdam NL
As part of the creative Verbloemd Festival, the Verbloemd collective presented a group exhibition at SEXYLAND World, Amsterdam’s vibrant experimental arts and nightlife space. Featuring multidisciplinary work—ranging from visual art and performance to interactive pieces—the show was hosted in a dim, atmospheric setting that blurred the line between club and gallery. Emerging artists used this underground, queer-friendly context to explore themes of identity, intimacy, and transformation. Within the conceptual clubhouse atmosphere—described as “a labyrinth of artistic experimentation” e—the exhibition highlighted the power of collaboration, spontaneity, and radical inclusion.
Fragments of Identity
The Boomer Gallery, London UK
Group exhibition “Fragments of Identity”, held in the vibrant Tower Bridge district. Over the course of the week, the gallery showcased multidisciplinary works—spanning painting, sculpture, photography, film/video, installation, textile, prints, and digital art—each engaging with the question:
“What defines identity in the 21st century?”
Artists from around the globe contributed reflections on personal history, cultural heritage, and identity as a layered, evolving construct. The exhibition encouraged viewers to look beyond surface appearances and consider how individual experiences, memories, and influences shape who we are. By presenting creative “fragments” from diverse backgrounds and practices, Fragments of Identity created a space for dialogue and introspection, inviting audiences to explore their own sense of self within the complexity of contemporary life.
‘In The Shelves Above The Bars’
Amare, The Hague NL‘Artists Work in Horeca’ - With this theme we aim to highlight the true reality of artists' combined work lives, as well as bringing to face the creative background of the people who serve the public every day, within the framework of the building itself. Eight artists, connected by our work in the Amare Horeca team, will present works ranging from painting to photography, sculpture, sound and writing. We invite the public to engage with the works of up-and-coming artists displayed in the cultural hub of the city where we spend so much of our time.
